A community engagement session was conducted in Sukkur, Sindh as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. The activity brought rural women together for structured discussions on their rights, the forms of violence they may encounter, and available support mechanisms for survivors.
The session focused on raising awareness, enhancing understanding, and strengthening participants’ confidence in identifying and reporting cases of gender-based violence. Facilitators engaged closely with attendees to ensure the discussions were practical, relatable, and grounded in the lived experiences of the community.
The initiative reflects a sustained effort to foster safer and more informed communities, where women can exercise their rights and access support without hesitation..
